Hannover Messe 2025
Once again, the Center for Electrochemical Energy Storage Ulm & Karlsruhe (CELEST) participated at Hannover Messe as co-exhibitor at the Baden-Württemberg Pavilion in the Energy Solutions Area from 31 March to 4 April 2025. Besides the three research fields „Lithium-ion batteries“, „Post-lithium batteries“ - including the Cluster of Excellence POLiS - and „Alternative electrochemical storage and conversion devices“, other relevant CELEST topics such as „Innovation & Transfer“, „Qualification & Training“ and „Communication“ were focused on.
At the CELEST booth, an interactive exhibit showcasing different scenarios related to the energy transition, was shown.
We had the pleasure of welcoming many visitors to our booth — from engaging conversations with industry experts to hosting national and international delegations, including political representatives. Petra Olschowski, Minister of Science, Research and Arts for the State of Baden-Württemberg visitesd the booth on the second day exchanging thoughts on qualification and training and getting updates on the latest developments of the research platform CELEST and the Cluster of Excellence POLiS. In addition to many individual conversations, we also had the pleasure of once again welcoming Cluster Members of Cluster Electric Mobility South-West c/o e-mobil BW GmbH, a group of university representatives and a Spanish group with representatives of the company Asoindel from Catalonia, which operates as a system integrator for National Instruments in various technological areas, especially in the field of test and validation, there was an intensive exchange about the cooperation in the area of testing software and training, at our booth.
A highlight was our event INNO-Bat which was organized in partnership with Niedersachsen.next, Automotive Agentur Niedersachsen and TraWeBa.
Hannover Messe is one of the world's largest trade shows dedicated to industrial development. It is organized by Deutsche Messe AG and held at the Hannover Exhibition Grounds.
