CELEST at Hannover Messe 2023
For the first time, the Center for Electrochemical Energy Storage Ulm & Karlsruhe (CELEST) participated at this year’s Hannover Messe as co-exhibitor at the Baden-Württemberg Pavilion in the Energy Solutions Area from 17 to 21 April 2023. The main focus of the fair this year was CO2-neutral production, energy management, AI and hydrogen.
At the CELEST booth, exhibits such as new battery materials from the Cluster of Excellence POLiS, different cell types including round and pouch cells as well as a SCARA robot for stacking pouch cells from our partners Karlruhe Insitute of Technology KIT, Ulm University and Zentrum für Sonnenenergie- und Wasserstoff-Forschung ZSW were shown. Furthermore, visitors were informed about the platform and various activities happenings.
Additionally, following last year‘s successful online events „Inspiration Exchange“ and „Matchmaking Event“, the state agency e-mobil BW also invited CELEST members to participate in their overall team meeting of the cluster „Elektromobilität Süd-West“ which was organized during the fair. This was followed by a networking reception with a light lunch hosted by CELEST to further strengthen the collaboration with e-mobil.
With 250,000 visitors, Hannover Messe is one of the world's largest trade shows dedicated to industrial development. It is organized by Deutsche Messe AG and held at the Hannover Exhibition Grounds. There, 6,500 companies and organizations exhibit their products and developments.
